Q:
What is Job Completion Reporting?
A Notice of Completion, or Job Completion is filed when
a particular job has been completed. Relevant to payment
collections primarily because if a contractor has filed
a completion it can drastically decrease the period of time
a sub contractor can effect a Lien on a job site.
CSA's exclusive reporting lets you search the entire database
for job completions by the owner, by the prime, and even
by the job site address.
Q:
What is the Weekly Bulletin Archive?
CSA's coveted Weekly Bulletin, published throughout the
year, contains up to date Mechanics Lien and Notice of Completion
listings and can be easily printed out readily giving you
access to a printed hardcopy of our data.
Q:
What is a Preliminary 20-Day Notice?
To ensure that you can indeed
issue a Mechanics Lien or a Stop you must first begin the
legal process. Typically a very tedious and error prone process,
a misfiled Preliminary 20-Day Notice can eliminate your ability
to even file a Mechanics Lien or issue a Stop. CSA simplifies
the process and ensures that your Mechanics Lien and Stop
rights will be protected and available to you.
Q:
What is a Notice of Completion?
A Notice of Completion, or Job Completion, is filled when
a particular job has been completed. Relevant to payment
collections primarily because if a contractor has filed
a completion it can drastically decrease the period of available
time a sub contractor can effect a Lien on a job site.
For one month intervals, CSA will actively monitor and
notify you the second a completion is filed for the particular
job you request.
Q:
What is a Intent to Lien/Stop
An Intent to Lien/Stop is
an incredibly effective way to expedite payment on a contract,
often without an actual Mechanics Lien or a Stop. Carefully
drafted by CSA's legal team, CSA exclusive Intent to Lien/Stop
has evolved over 15 years and has a past proven record.
Q:
What is a Mechanics Lien?

Such lien covers materialsmen, tradesmen, suppliers, and the like, who furnish services, labor, or materials on construction or improvement of private property. Mechanics' Lien does not apply to Public Works Projects (see Stop Notice).
Q:
What is a Stop Notice?
An alternative to the mechanics' lien remedy that allows contractors, suppliers and workers to make and enforce a claim against the construction lender, and in many instances, the owner, for a portion of the undisbursed construction loan proceeds. Stop Notice claim applies to both Public and Private Jobs.
